Add a prayer for peace on earth around the Advent wreath each day, remembering especially those enduring war, oppression or famine.
Create an Advent calendar that offers suggestions to do a daily act of kindness for your family members, coworkers, friends or classmates.
Invite friends, neighbors or co-workers, who are living alone, and share your family's Advent traditions with them throughout the season.
Adopt a child or family through a social service agency in your area for Christmas, or give through Catholic Relief Services' Gift of Hope Tree.
If you don't have an adoration hour each week, sign up for one during Advent and grow your relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Partner with St. Nicholas in giving to the poor this Christmas by supporting the ministry of your choice through Catholic Charities of Arkansas.
