December 1
Advent Wreath
Add a prayer for peace on earth around the Advent wreath each day, remembering especially those enduring war, oppression or famine.
December 2
Advent Calendar
Create an Advent calendar that offers suggestions to do a daily act of kindness for your family members, coworkers, friends or classmates.
December 3
Advent Traditions
Invite friends, neighbors or co-workers, who are living alone, and share your family's Advent traditions with them throughout the season.
December 4
Adopt a Family
Adopt a child or family through a social service agency in your area for Christmas, or give through Catholic Relief Services' Gift of Hope Tree.
December 5
Time With Jesus
If you don't have an adoration hour each week, sign up for one during Advent and grow your relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
December 6
Join St. Nicholas
Partner with St. Nicholas in giving to the poor this Christmas by supporting the ministry of your choice through Catholic Charities of Arkansas.

Examine Prejudice
Study Bishop Taylor's Advent Guide about the human rights of immigrants or read the U.S. bishops' pastoral letter against racism.

Help Moms in Need
Help moms in need by giving baby items to a pregnancy resource center or volunteer to babysit or lend a listening ear to a mom in your life.

Organize Fundraiser
Help this year's One Church: Unite Arkansas in Faith and Mission partner reach its goal by putting together a fundraiser in your parish.

Pray for Vocations
Pray daily for young men and women in the Diocese of Little Rock to overcome their fears and discern a vocation to the priesthood or religious life.

Contact your parish and volunteer to grocery shop or run errands for a parishioner who doesn't have a car or otherwise can't go.

Contact your local jail or a nearby prison to see if you can mail Christmas cookies or cards to inmates incarcerated during the holidays.

Pay the tuition for a student who can't afford to go to a Catholic school, pray for school safety or contact a school near you to see how you can help.

Receive Wisdom
