Group to support women after abortion - Aug 12, 2016
Project Rachel, a support group for women who have had abortions, will begin...
A healing ministry for post-abortive women
Project Rachel is a program that reaches out to the post-abortive woman and her family as a means of receiving the healing grace of God through sacramental reconciliation, counseling and prayer. It is a ministry of the Respect Life Office.
In the Diocese of Little Rock, Project Rachel support groups begin meeting in February and September for 11 weeks in Little Rock, Hot Springs and northwest Arkansas. These groups are for women who are suffering from the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual effects of a past abortion. Participants may also attend an annual retreat with other Project Rachel women. To register for a support group or get more information, e-mail Anne Dierks or call her at (501) 664-0340, ext. 357. ALL e-mails and calls are kept strictly confidential.
To learn more about Project Rachel, read this testimonial from a woman who attended Project Rachel in Arkansas, or visit to Hope After Abortion, which offers resources and testimonials from women who have taken part in this program worldwide. This website is available in English and Spanish.
