Project Rachel

A healing ministry for post-abortive women and men

Project Rachel, a post-abortion healing ministry of the Catholic Church, offers an integrated approach to healing for anyone suffering from a past abortion experience. Project Rachel ministry reaches out to women, men and their families with spiritual, psychological and emotional support. Women and men are invited to receive the healing grace of God through sacramental reconciliation, counseling and prayer. It is a ministry of the Respect Life Office. All services are available in English and in Spanish.

Confidential Phone Line

Trained lay ministers who understand the pain of abortion and who care about the caller will listen, answer questions, pray, value the caller’s privacy and offer individual recommendations and referrals to priests, counselors, support groups, retreats or other services as needed. Healing Support Groups

In the Diocese of Little Rock, Project Rachel support groups begin meeting in February and September for nine weeks in various locations throughout Arkansas. These groups are for anyone suffering from the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual effects of a past abortion. Visit our calendar to find start dates. Day of Prayer and Healing Retreats

Project Rachel offers one-day retreats in various locations throughout the diocese. A Day of Prayer and Healing offers a safe, loving and prayerful environment for retreatants to begin or continue their healing journey. Women and men discover that there is hope and that they are not alone in the experience of abortion.
