Request Papal Audience Tickets
The Holy Father holds a general audience, most Wednesday mornings, in Vatican City at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are required for audiences held in St. Peter’s Square or the Paul VI audience hall. The audience is a chance to pray with the Holy Father and receive his blessing, which is imparted to all present and to their families and friends.
U.S. visitors to the Vatican may request tickets to a papal audience directly through The Pontifical North American College. Complete the online request form to request tickets. Tickets may also be requested through the Prefecture of the Papal Household. There is a form to download for additional information and instructions. Download the request form.
For more information, contact María Velázquez in the Office of the Bishop at (501) 664-0340, ext. 340.
To qualify as a newlywed couple (sposi novelli), couples must be married within two months of the audience they wish to attend. They must also carry with them a copy of their sacramental marriage certificate signed by their priest and wear their wedding attire. The Holy Father will bless them for a happy wedded life when he gives his general blessing at the conclusion of the papal audience. Complete the online request form to request tickets.
Groups larger than 10 people are encouraged to provide the following information, so we may request that their group be publicly announced at the audience:
Although there are more than 1,000 churches in Rome, it might still be difficult to find a Mass in English. The Pontifical North American College offers several options for Mass times in English in Rome during your pilgrimage. Pilgrims are also welcome to attend Mass in English at the Church of Santo Spirito in Sassia at 10 a.m. The Church of Santo Spirito in Sassia is only three blocks from St. Peter’s Square on Borgo Santo Spirito, 3. Mass is held every Sunday.
