40 Days for Life starts on Ash Wednesday

Published: February 26, 2020

The international Lenten campaign of 40 Days for Life begins on Ash Wednesday and continues through April 5. In Arkansas, it is being held across the street from Little Rock Family Planning Services, the abortion facility located at #4 Office Park Drive in Little Rock. The prayer vigil is held each day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 40 Days for Life ministry highlights prayer, fasting and a peaceful, prayer vigil outside an abortion facility to pray for an end to abortion. Little Rock participants are asked to park at the Crafton and Tull building on Financial Parkway and Hermitage. Please do not park on Office Park Drive. If you would like more information or to volunteer to help, contact Toni Blackwell at (501) 650-2993, e-mail 40daysforlifelittlerock@gmail.com or follow the Little Rock campaign on Facebook.

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will lead the Stations of the Cross at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27 as part of 40 Days for Life in Little Rock. All are invited to join him in prayer across the street from Little Rock Family Planning Services. For more information, contact Catherine Phillips, diocesan respect life director, at (501) 664-0340, ext. 326.
