NEW: An art contest for students in elementary and middle school to celebrate Life, Our Sign of Hope. The Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Little Rock is offering this activity as part of the run-up to Respect Life Month in October. Artwork as painting, drawing, or mixed media will be accepted. Prizes will be awarded in three Divisions:

• PreK – 1^st grade
• 2^nd-4^th grades
• 5^th- 8^th grades

Entries will judged on creativity, quality of design, and how well the artwork fits with the theme “Life: Our Sign of Hope”. There is no fee to enter. The entry deadline is Sept. 20, 2025. Write down the student name and grade, parent or guardian name, email or postal address and contact phone number to submit with finished works to the Respect Life Office, via postal mail to 2500 N. Tyler St. 72207; via email to respectlife@dolr.org; or drop off at the Respect Life Office during weekly work hours. An awards ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 5, 2025, after the Respect Life Sunday Mass in the St. Edward Church Hall, 801 Sherman St., Little Rock.
