Bishop releases pastoral changes Dec. 6

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments, Dec. 6, 2021, for the Diocese of Little Rock.

Effective Jan. 14, 2022:

  • Rev. Aby Abraham, IMS, relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Mary Church in Paragould and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Walnut Ridge to return to India due to a delay in the renewal of his visa.
  • Rev. Benignus Wego, SVD, to cover the weekend Masses at St. Mary Church in Paragould and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Walnut Ridge from Jan. 15-30, 2022.
  • Rev. Norbert Rappold to cover the weekend Masses at St. Mary Church in Paragould and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Walnut Ridge, Feb. 5-6, 2022.

Effective Feb. 7, 2022:

  • Rev. Nazarus Maduba, appointed administrator of St. Mary Church in Paragould and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Walnut Ridge. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Mountain Home and St. Mary Church in Mountain View.
