In conjunction with the Jubilee Year 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, a church tour will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 8, in Little Rock. The Cathedral was established in 1845 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The docent-led tour will provide historical information about the church compiled over the years from former pastors, art history experts, notes and books. The holy year allows Catholics to focus on renewal, forgiveness and spiritual growth while being renewed in hope. To receive the plenary indulgence, one should receive the sacraments of reconciliation and holy Communion and pray for the intentions of Pope Francis. There is also a special opportunity to touch, pray and venerate before the handmade jubilee cross, containing a relic from the true cross of Jesus, displayed in the Cathedral of St. Andrew.
