Pre-Cana Day is an one-day retreat for couples who are engaged and wish to be married in the Catholic Church. Convalidation Day is a marriage education program is for couples who are married civilly (outside the Catholic Church) and wish to have a sacramental marriage within the Church. Couples considering marriage must have the approval of their pastor before attending. These programs are combined into one day for Spanish-speaking couples. At this event, couples are invited to spend time together reflecting on their relationship and future marriage. It is sponsored by the diocesan Family Life Office.
