I had felt a call to the religious life a few years ago. I’m in my 20s age. But I had been afraid of being “left out” in order to actively discern in a convent due to a lack of a diploma and mild cognitive impairment. And I have doubts I can discern because of work demands, while Mom apparently will retire in the next two years and find her own place to live.
