The Catholic Church worldwide is celebrating the Jubilee Year 2025 from Dec. 24, 2024 to Jan. 6, 2026. The theme is be "Pilgrims of Hope." The Jubilee for Sick and Immigrants will be held at three jubilee churches in the Diocese of Little Rock, including the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. First-class relics will be on display during Masses at 8:30 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. After each Mass, a five-minute reflection will be given. Private veneration will be available from 1-5 p.m.
These Masses highlight the lives and missionary work of St. Damien de Veuster and St. Marianne Cope. First-class relics of these saints will come to Arkansas for veneration. The faithful will have a chance to learn about their inspiring lives and ministry.
More Masses for the Jubilee for Sick and Immigrants will be celebrated July 18 at Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith and July 19 at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in St. Edward Church in Little Rock. For more information, contact Father Juan Guido, director of the diocesan Divine Worship Office.
