Bishop issues clergy changes June 25

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments, June 25, 2024, for the Diocese of Little Rock.
Effective June 17:
- Rev. Peter Le-Thanh Quang, relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor and his ministry to the Vietnamese community of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Barling to serve in the Diocese of Kamloops, Canada, with the Missionaries of Reparation (contrary to the previous announcement.) He remains incardinated in the Diocese of Little Rock.
Effective July 1:
- Dcn. Greg Donaldson, assigned to serve as deacon at Sacred Heart Church in Morrilton and St. Elizabeth Church in Oppelo. He is relieved of his responsibilities as deacon at Christ the King Church in Little Rock.
- Rev. Ruben Quinteros, appointed director of deacon formation in the Diocese of Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in North Little Rock (Marché) and St. Mary Church in North Little Rock.
- Dcn. Mark Verkamp, appointed assistant to the director of deacon formation for the English cohort. He is relieved of his responsibilities as diocesan director of deacon formation. He remains deacon at Sacred Heart Church in Charleston.
- Dcn. Marcelino Luna, appointed assistant to the director of deacon formation for the Spanish cohort. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate director of faith formation. He remains deacon at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Benton.
Effective July 2:
- Rev. Edward Brodsky, FSSP, a priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, appointed associate pastor of St. John the Baptist Church in Cabot.
