Why do you want to be a deacon?

In the beginning I felt the desire and a calling, but now I feel it is the Holy Spirit that has revealed to me and inspired me to remain firm. I have placed my trust in God and I ask that he let me be a deacon because I want to dedicate my life to the service of others. I want to give my life so that many more can know God and they can fall in love with him as I have. I want to bring the Gospel to others.
