Nine complete theology institute in 2016

Little Rock Theology Institute recognized nine students June 4, for completing the adult faith formation program's three-year coursework in theology.

Little Rock Theology Institute is an academic program for adults wishing to learn more about the Catholic faith. Students may attend for personal enrichment, catechist certification or to earn a bachelor's degree in theology. Learn more about earning a bachelor's degree. The institute is a ministry of the diocesan Faith Formation Office.

The classes, which are offered monthly from September to June, are taught by diocesan staff and professors from various Catholic colleges and universities in the United States and Canada.

Participants meet on Fridays from 7-10 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock. For details about the cost, list of classes and schedule, download the information brochure. Open registration is held from May 1 to Aug. 15. You may register online or download the registration form in PDF format and mail it to the Faith Formation Office. If you wish to earn a bachelor's degree in theology, additional steps are required to enroll.
