The Diocese of Tulsa will host this year's Provincial Canon Law Workshop from 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 7 at Holy Family Cathedral in the Heiring Auditorium in Tulsa, Okla. Anne Bryant, JCL, director of the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, will speak on the topic “Tribunals Today: Lay Experiences, Challenging People and More." The cost is $120 per person, which includes meals and workshop materials. Nearby accomodations are available for an additional fee. Download and return to the registration form and fee to the address provided by July 22. This event is sponsored by the Diocese of Tulsa Tribunal. For more information, contact Paulina Zepeda at (918) 307-4925. This event offers continuing education for those who work or volunteer in a Catholic Church tribunal as canon lawyers, office staff or advocates. Priests are also encouraged to attend. It is open to participants from any diocese, but is sponsored by the tribunals of the Ecclesiastical Province of Oklahoma, which includes the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, Diocese of Tulsa and Diocese of Little Rock. Each year it is held in one of these three dioceses. The Diocese of Little Rock last hosted in 2023.
