Responsible for meeting regularly with pastor, maintaining atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation with clergy, deacons, diocese, parish and finance councils and parishioners, reviewing and evaluating direct reports, assisting staff to ensure diocesan policies are followed, monitoring financial reports and budgets with finance council/parish accounting, assisting with liturgical and sacramental programs and overseeing parish life programs and communications with parish social media coordinator; must be actively involved in parish, have experience managing compensation processes and supervising staff, knowledge of employment, finance, liability and property insurance legal requirements, skills to manage multiple projects, strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively use finance software and Microsoft Office programs and solid understanding of church safe environment program and diocesan finance, human resources and insurance requirements; bachelor of science degree in accounting or finance preferred
