Responsible for teaching students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade to sing, play instruments and appreciate music while directing the school choir, leading music at weekly Masses and offering elective classes to junior high students while maintaining full teaching load, daily duties, attending meetings, offering extended practice sessions and continuing teacher development; must have bachelor’s degree in music education or related field, Arkansas teaching license, strong classroom management and organization abilities, talent to lead and plan music for Catholic liturgy, proficiency in voice and at least one musical instrument, preferably piano or guitar, ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with broad audience, commitment to Catholic education, good judgment and strong integrity; possible in and out of state travel required; must be able to pass background check, fingerprinting and child maltreatment screening; experience teaching music to pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students preferred
