Why do you want to be a deacon?

Dedicated to service of the Lord at my baptism, I now realize how God was preparing me to answer this call to the diaconate through many years of service in other ministries. I want to deepen my commitment to Christ and the Church by becoming a servant leader to spread the Gospel by word and deed.
