Deacon Candidate — Class of 2022

Jason Pohlmeier, St. Joseph Church, Fayetteville

Why do you want to be a deacon?

The short answer is that I feel called to do so. It is clear in Scripture that we are all given different gifts to use for service to God. Christians spend their lives trying to find the best way to use those gifts and do God’s work. I believe God has given me some gifts that he can use to make me a good deacon. In diaconate formation and in life, my goal is to do my best to let God work through me as a servant of the Church and witness to the Gospel of Jesus.
