Bishop to make pastoral changes March 1

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments Friday, Feb. 22, for the Diocese of Little Rock:

Rev. Robert Cigainero begins a leave of absence from his priestly responsibilities.
Msgr. David LeSieur relieved of his responsibilities as director of continuing education of the clergy and minster for priests. He remains pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers.
Rev. Erik Pohlmeier appointed director of continuing education of the clergy. He remains diocesan director of faith formation.
Msgr. Scott Friend, VG, appointed minister to priests. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as diocesan director of vocations. He is relieved of his responsibilities as vicar general of the Diocese of Little Rock.
Rev. John Connell appointed vicar general of the Diocese of Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. Raphael Church in Springdale and St. Joseph Church in Tontitown.
Rev. Warren Harvey appointed from assistant minister to priests to minister to senior and infirmed priests. He remains part-time chaplain at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock and bishop's liaison to the Diocesan Council of Black Catholics.
