Responsible for teaching freshman theology, working within school education program in manner consistent and supportive of school mission, assisting students to foster deeper understanding of faith and connections between lived faith and lived values, teaching mercy values, history and tradition of Mercy sisters, encouraging students to respond and live out relationship with God by making moral decisions, developing practices of prayer and reflection and loving and serving others; must have bachelor’s degree in theology or similar studies, Arkansas teaching license or progress toward license, strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships, ability to pass appropriate background checks and demonstrated high professional and ethical standards to manage confidential information
