Diocese of Little Rock Archives

The purpose of our archives is to collect, preserve and make available for research historical records that document the presence and mission of the Catholic Church in Arkansas. The diocesan policy is to keep our records closed. We do research on a time available basis upon request. To request a record, E-mail the Diocesan Archivist.

Genealogy Requests

Requests for information on baptismal or marriage sacramental records for the purpose of genealogy can be made through the Chancery Office. To make a genealogical request, please e-mail Tim Nutt.

Sacramental Records

The Diocese of Little Rock maintains records of baptisms and marriages. For additional information, go to Information about Sacramental Records.

Baptismal Records

Requests for baptismal certificates for marriage should be made directly to the parish of baptism. For a listing of the current Diocese of Little Rock parishes, visit our Parish Directory. If unsure of the parish of baptism or marriage, to locate sacramental records of parishes that have closed or for other sacramental record inquiries, please e-mail Debby Hook.
