Responsible for interacting with children and providing them a comforting and nurturing environment conducive to learning and working closely with the preschool teacher to ensure children are given the opportunity to develop their social and cognitive skills as well as providing the groundwork and building blocks needed to be successful with curriculum content; must have high school diploma, previous work experience with children (3 to 4 years of age preferred), passion for working with young children, good problem-solving and communication skills and be patient and able to relate to children, parents, teachers and other staff members
